I love the Air song How Does it Make You Feel from the album 10000 Hz Legend for both the Mac Plaintalk voices (Fred and Victoria?) and the humor. French guys being funny in English? Espace de rire?
The video is rather odd too but interesting.
For the non-Air fans the title of the post is a riff on another track on 10000 Hz Legend: Electronic Performers. And you can see the video for that song. More Kubrickian than humerous.
These songs and others from the first three Air albums send a shiver up my spine as they were pretty much the only music I listened to when I visited the UK in 2004 when my Mom was dying. They all have a feverish, drugged, distant, soundtrack feel to them which is enhanced when walking through busy airports or train stations in a little otherworldly bubble of music. All the bustle is outside my head and I float towards the gate.
